The Institute of Rehabilitation is Finland’s leading centre for​ education, development and research in the field of multidisciplinary rehabilitation. ​We respond to changing societal needs by renewing rehabilitation and by producing expertise in the field of rehabilitation through education, continuous learning, research and development.​

The goal of the the Institute of Rehabilitation is to be an internationally recognised developer and implementer of education, continuous learning as well as research, development and innovation activities. We are a member of the national centre of excellence in the field of rehabilitation.​

The Institute of Rehabilitation is a developer of the education and research ecosystem in cooperation with domestic and international partners. We have a versatile research, development and learning environment that predicts future needs. The research utilises a wide range of research methods, focusing on the key strategic themes of the Institute for Rehabilitation. ​
