JAMK has changed library systems and there are some issues to be taken into account, when logging in to Janet

JAMK students and staff
JAMK students and staff will continue to log in to Janet with Haka credentials. Due to the library system change, the library card has to be added to the account again. Only after that can you make reservations and renew your loans.

Adding your library card
• Select Haka login
• Choose Your Account > Library Cards
• Write your email on the Email box. The email address has to be the exact same as in the library database. Choose Save.
• Go to your email using the same device and same browser with which you ordered the link.
• Click on the link. Your library card is now added to your Janet account.

Problems?
If after you have logged in to Janet there appears a note saying the library system is not in use, or if you can see your loans on Janet but cannot renew them, or if the borrowing history is not up-to-date or you cannot make reservations, do the following:

Log in to Janet with Haka login. Go to Profile and scroll down under the address information. Click on the red “Delete Account” button. After clicking, you will automatically be logged out from Janet. Deleting the account will not delete your loans or customer information from the library, only the link to the old library system will be deleted.

Log in again and add your library card one more time according to the instructions above. Now your information should be in order on Janet. If not, try on another device or browser.

Other customers
• Select E-mail login
• Write your email on the Email box. The email address has to be the exact same as in the library database. Choose Login.
• Go to your email using the same device and same browser with which you ordered the link.
• Click on the link. You can now access your Janet account and for example renew your loans.
• Use E-mail login every time you want to access your Janet account

PIN code is not needed for the time being
Your old PIN code does not work anymore. Self-service library and self-service machines work without the PIN code for the time being.
