School of Business founds International Academic Advisory Board (IAAB)

The School of Business has been in 2015 successfully EPAS re-accredited and would now like to continue with its development process and internationalization by driving quality enhancement throughout the entire institution. Therefore School of Business creates an International Academic Advisory Board (IAAB) as an external body that reflects on the school's strategic development.

The main goal is to form a board consisting of academic and professional experts from European business schools that are advising the school's senior management on strategic steps towards internationalization and accreditation.

Currently nominated board members are:

  • Simon Mercado (Dean ESCP London)
  • Philip O'Regan (Dean, Kimmy Business School, University of Limerick)
  • Julie Perrin-Hallot (Associate Dean, Grenoble Ecole de Management)
  • Udo Steffens (President and CEO, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management)
  • Chairman: Mathias Falkenstein  (Senior Consultant in Higher Education Management, CHE-Consult)

The first meeting will be held in Jyväskylä in March.

In addition to this director Asta Wahlgrén has been nominated as a member of the International Academic Advisory Board (IAAB) of Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
