Entrepreneur Day celebrated on 5 September

Entrepreneurship means realising your dreams

Entrepreneur Day has been celebrated annually on 5 September since 1997. At the request of the Entrepreneur Day Foundation, 5 September has been marked in the calendar as a special day. The idea of the event is to demonstrate that entrepreneurship is an excellent option if you have a burning desire to make your dreams reality and create something new. If you also believe in your idea and are ready to work for it, your own business is a good way to secure your employment.

This autumn, the Jyväskylä region will invest more than ever in entrepreneurship training as the University of Jyväskylä, JAMK University of Applied Sciences and Jyväskylä Educational Consortium will test common entrepreneurship studies for the first time. The educational institutes have approximately 45,000 students altogether.

At JAMK, the JAMK Generator offers students different options right from the beginning of their studies. Read more here.

The Team Academy is a centre of excellence in entrepreneurship where all learning occurs in a practical context.

Entrepreneur Day has been visible at JAMK campuses this week in the form of various events.
