Individual arrangements for entrance examination
If, due to disability, disease, dyslexia or some other specific reason, you need individual arrangements during the entrance exam (e.g. additional time, tasks without pictures for applicants using a screen reader), you have to fill in a written request for individual arrangements.
Instructions on applying
If the entrance examination includes a written part, you can request individual arrangements for the following degree programmes:
- International Business
- Purchasing and Logistics Engineering
- Automation and Robotics
- Tourism Management
- Nursing
- Professional Project Management
You can request individual arrangements with a separate application form for individual arrangements. Jamk UAS uses a electronic form for requesting individual arrangements.
- Submit your request to Jamk UAS if Jamk UAS is your highest application option.
- Please attach a copy of the attestation or statement (e.g. medical certificate) that indicates the ground for individual arrangements.
- If the statement is written in another language than Finnish, Swedish or English, submit a translated copy of the document with an authorised translator’s name, signature and stamp.
Timetable
Submit your request for individual arrangements with the necessary attachments by 24 January 2024 at 3.00 p.m. (UTC/GMT+2) to the Admission Services of the university of applied sciences that is your highest application option.
Decision
Jamk will inform you by email on individual arrangements that you have been granted two weeks before the entrance examination date.
If you are not satisfied with the arrangements stated in the decision, you can contact Jamk without delay so that the decision can be re-evaluated. The decision on individual arrangements in the entrance examination is exam-specific and valid only in that particular entrance examination.
