New ideas and trends from Logistic field!

Who are you?

I am Janek Kivimurd, I live in Tallinn, Estonia.

What is your education?

I have graduated from Tallinn Collage of Engineering in year 2002.

Where do you work?

I am forking for international logistics company DPD Eesti. DPD in one of the leading parcel delivery companies in Europe.
I am working as a Sales and Marketing Manager. I am responsible for sales, marketing and customer service areas.

What made you apply for Logistics programme, to Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences?

I have participated the so-called Euro-logistics autumn course in Jyväskylä 2000.
This was very sympathetic and valuable for me: new knowledge's (high level lecturers), improve English, new contacts and bacterium to seek international contacts, knowledge and experiences.

What have you liked so far? Is it as you expected?

The main value behind the master program for me is to gather new ideas, hear about new trends in logistics, learn from others experience feedback, develop my contacts network. Last but not least, the value I have gained, while butting it into the practise to double the value. And of course have some good time with course mates.

Is it hard to combine studies and work?

It is not easy but I would not change it. It is the best change to get out from the regular environment. It supports to think out of "box" and also very important to but ideas into the practice.
