Trainees of Health and Social Services

Health and social studies prepare the students for careers as physiotherapists, rehabilitation counsellors, midwives, nurses, social services professionals, public health nurses and occupational therapists. Nursing education is provided both in Finnish and in English.


Practical training is implemented in several periods of various lengths. Depending on the degree programme, the total length of practical training varies between 30 and 80 weeks. Typical practical training placements include various organisations and projects both in Finland and abroad.
