Mara Business Clinic

Objectives

  • Reinforcing know-how of the tourism and services branch in the project’s area of operation
  • Enhancing the know-how of the School of Tourism and Services Management and collecting company knowledge for the continuous development of the branch
  • Through the project activities, entrepreneurs and other actors in the branch will understand the importance of training and significance of continuous development

Target groups

  • Entrepreneurs and staff of small and medium-sized companies in the tourism, accommodation and catering branch
  • Students and staff of Jyväskylä and Vaasa Universities of Applied Sciences

Outputs

  • A new action model between the companies and the universities of applied sciences, which develops the know-how of the companies and the students of the institutions
  • Defining the educational needs of the branch
  • Increase in motivation and interest in entrepreneurship among the students of the UAS
