WIRE Project – Power from Networks for Individual Solutions in Life

Objectives

WIRE 1 and 2:

  • To improve the life management of the unemployed who are in a weak labour market position.
  • To reduce long-term unemployment, to activate the unemployed and increase their independent life control; to prevent social exclusion and promote welfare.
  • To employ and activate unemployed people.
  • To build an efficient network of co-operation and service guidance

WIRE 3:

  • To integrate a comprehensive operational model of employability into the service system and cooperation with SMEs in the municipalities of the Jyväskylä region.

Results

WIRE 1 and 2: Model of employability, service products (health services, rehabilitation planning, active period, physical exercise services, and labour training).

WIRE 3: Municipality-specific operational models of employability, a model of company cooperation, criteria for case management in employment promotion.

Target groups

WIRE 1 AND 2: the long-term unemployed (unemployed for over a year) and organisations as well service providers in the field of employment treatment.

WIRE 3: organisations and service providers in the field of employment promotion, companies and the long-term unemployed.
