Library cancels subscriptions to the Journals Portal and Elsevier ScienceDirect

Details about the JAMK library’s journals have been available via several separate systems. To make finding journals easier, the library has decided to give up the Journals Portal. In the future, electronic journals will be available through the Nelli Portal’s Find e-Journal function and the details of the printed journals in the library catalogue Janet.

The library has also decided to cancel the subscription of the multidisciplinary Elsevier Science database due to a considerable price increase. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers and are looking for a compensatory solution.

The Journals Portal and Elsevier ScienceDirect will no longer be accessible in 2012.
