Become a student tutor for the new students starting their studies in autumn 2009!

Student tutors (peer tutors) help new students settle down in the study environment and get started with their studies.  Student tutors have practical information, knowledge, know-how and experiences that can help newcomers with the questions that they have at the beginning of their studies and also later on.

As a student tutor, you can develop your presentation and problem solving skills and your ability to get along with different kinds of people.

The Student Union (JAMKO) is responsible for organizing the student tutor activities at the Jyväskylä University of Applied Sciences. JAMKO also recruits and trains the student tutors.  The application period for new student tutors is open until 14 January 2009.  All the applicants will be interviewed in week 4 (starting on 19 January).
