The Master’s Degree Programme in Hospitality Management at the School of Tourism and Services Management forms a multidisciplinary operating environment, consisting of different organizations, areas of expertise and services. It includes business activity implemented on the interface of various sectors and a wide variety of customers. The development of customer-oriented, seamless service chains calls for solid expertise and an innovative approach to work.

Master’s thesis, 30 cr
The professional in-depth studies include the courses Developing Services and Service Culture, Knowing the Consumer, Risk Assessment and Safety, and Service Impact Assessment. The thesis is an applied development assignment related to the promotion of the operations of your workplace or the industry.

After graduation, you can be employed in management and development tasks within the various sectors of the service business, or work as an entrepreneur.
A Master’s degree also qualifies for such public offices which require a second-cycle degree. After teacher training, you can work as a lecturer at the universities of applied sciences.
Study Flexibly While Working
The programme is implemented through flexible modes of learning, including contact lessons, online learning and independent study. You study in groups in which you create networks and learn from the other professionals, too. The contact lessons are normally provided on two weekdays a month. The programme can be completed in 2-3 years while working.
Who Can Apply?
You can apply if you have a Bachelor of Hospitality Management degree or other relevant higher education degree, in addition to three years of work experience after the degree.
