Work groups

Apart from the final assessment of the theses, the bachelor’s thesis work groups of the units (schools) also monitor the quality of the theses and develop the practices concerning theses and their guidance. All or the majority of the members of the bachelor’s thesis work groups are Principal Lecturers.

At the JAMK level, the educational development service is responsible for developing the rules and practices related to theses. Every year, the educational development services organises development seminars and workshops, based on which a number of specifications and improvements are made annually to the thesis process.
