Upon graduation from the Degree Programme in Media Engineering, you will be able to define, design and implement elegant websites and online services, as well as understanding the various technologies used to implement the contents.

Content of Studies

The key contents include the various media (text, image, video, sound and their processing), multimedia applications, user interfaces and usability, www technologies and programming. The optional professional studies, aiming to complement students’ competences, include e.g. www/mobile services, 3D modelling, graphic technology or (game) programming.

Implementation of Studies

The programme includes lectures, assignments, exams, teamwork and online learning. During the client project, lasting a whole academic year, you will learn project work practices and create important relations and contacts in the industry.

The practical training, an essential part of the degree, is an excellent opportunity to be introduced to the operations and tasks of a company.

Employment Prospects

The graduates can work as e.g. web designers or programmers, user interface designers, project managers or instructors.

You can apply for admission if you have completed general upper secondary education, the matriculation examination or if you have a vocational qualification.
