An Expedition to the World of Entrepreneurship

Work in your own team enterprise at Team Academy is a unique journey to the world of entrepreneurship. Learning takes place by planning and implementing client projects and by applying theory to practice.

The most important learning tool at Team Academy is the team enterprise, which students establish at the beginning of their studies. Students work and share ideas and experiences with their team mates, and learn from each other. Together they train team and interaction skills, vital to their future careers. Public performance skills are also developed during the studies. Lectures have been replaced by the common training sessions of the team enterprises. The team’s own coach participates in the sessions, giving tips and advice and motivating the team as a whole to achieve better results.

In addition to your own competence, at Team Academy you will develop your team enterprise through client projects implemented for companies. Cooperation with clients also provides you with the opportunity to create contacts with interesting companies and people, and to build a personal network for your future.

You will apply the theoretical knowledge, acquired through reading, directly to real-life client projects. Studies are supported by field-specific seminars and internal educational programmes.

At Team Academy, you will learn to productize and produce services and events, as well as to make plans which will be refined to practical measures through real-life business activities. You will also learn to manage service processes and develop service entities, for example, in an international business environment.

What Do You Want to Be Good at?

Your learning journey at Team Academy is based on your individual goals. Each student makes a regularly updated learning agreement, specifying his/her path to "personal mastership". You can train marketing, managerial and innovation skills through various projects. You will also be introduced to financial administration by managing the finances of your team enterprise.

Team Academy also provides the opportunity to work in international projects. If you want, you can explore e.g. graphic design, advance your coaching skills, or study anything that interests you.

Operation in Client Networks Increases Boldness and Adventurousness

Studying in the Degree programme in Entrepreneurship Development calls for a genuine interest in business and in the development of entrepreneurship.

You need commitment and self-discipline to work as a team entrepreneur, but it also gives a lot if you like challenges and self-fulfilment. Success is evaluated by your clients, by the team, and by you as the learner. Constructive and direct feedback contributes to professional and personal development.

Independent initiative, social skills, the desire to develop and challenge oneself play a key role at Team Academy. Boldness and the courage to try different things, as well as an enthusiastic attitude, are also important. The special strengths of the unit include a constantly growing international business environment, an extensive network (partners, clients, experts) and team support for learning. Our culture, emphasizing collectiveness, as well as our inspiring learning environment, are also unique. Everyone is responsible for helping and encouraging the others. Employment prospects are also very good.

85% of Students Are Employed upon Graduation

The graduates are employed in a wide variety of business expert positions. The job titles include, for example, sales manager, team leader, project coordinator, entrepreneur, visual designer, project assistant, and event coordinator.
