Academic Year
The academic year runs from the beginning of August to the end of July: 1 August 2012 - 31 July 2013. The year is divided into five periods, summer studies are an addition to them.
The schedule of the Teacher Education College differs from the schedule of the other units.

General Exam Dates
The general exam dates given below are meant for all the courses, in accordance with the agreements and schedules of the units or degree programmes. The students must be prepared to prove their identity when taking an exam.
Enrolment for the exams at least ten days before the exam date. Exams will always start at 12 noon.

Bachelor’s Thesis Discussion Dates
The students have to submit their bachelor’s theses with the necessary appendices a minimum of four weeks prior to the desired date. The final assessment is done by the Thesis Teams of the schools / degree programmes, according to the schedule given below.

Class Schedule
In each school, the classes begin at the same time: 8.15, 10.15 and 12.30. Other starting times may vary according to school. Classes take place between 7.00 and 21.00.
Elective studies take place on Tuesday afternoons from 14.30 to 18.00. Elective language studies take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 16.30 to 18.00.
