Price
For JAMK students, personnel and exchange students participation is free of charge. For other participants the registration fee is 50 € for one day, 100 € for two days and 150 € for the whole week.

Course description and objectives
The learning aims for Creativity and Learning Summer School are to increase internationalization competences and explore and reflect the theme “Creativity and Learning”. The student will be able to use creativity and creative methods in facilitating learning. The student will also reflect and improve her/his skills to work in multicultural group.

Creativity can mean using arts in education, but also exploring new teaching/learning methods, ideas, concepts etc. Learning methods in our Summer School are creative, participatory and action-based. Workshop instructors are mostly international. The final list or workshops and information about the summer school in 2013 will be provided later.

Summer School programme (5 ECTS) consists of:

  1. Orientation task in spring (1 ECT credit)
  2. Workshops and study visits during the summer school week (2 ECTS credits).
    Contact sessions: Monday to Friday every day at 09:00 to 17:00 + social programme in the evenings.
  3. Facilitating social, action-based and cultural programme (1 ECT credit)
    Summer school students will facilitate the social programme of the summer school as part of their studies.
  4. Creative reflection (pictures, diary, video, blog texts etc.), afterwards (1 ECT credit)
