Short Term Programme at San José State University, California, 4th Edition, 5 ECTS Credits (19.-29.10.2012)
The Consortium of Universities of Applied Sciences in Finland and San José State University (SJSU) in Silicon Valley, US offer the opportunity to complete a special business study programme on the master’s level. The programme focuses on the business practices of the dynamic environment of Silicon Valley.
In addition to business courses, the programme includes visits to/from companies and organizations. They are also an integral part of the study content. These visits/ presentations are analyzed to the respective teachers through individual reports, focusing on the perspectives of different themes.
San José State is conveniently located on 154 acres in downtown San José, midway between San Francisco and the Monterey/Carmel area at the sunny southern end of San Francisco Bay, and is easily accessible from area freeways.
From its beginnings as a normal school that trained teachers for the developing frontier, SJSU has matured into a metropolitan university offering more than 134 bachelor's and master's degrees with 110 concentrations.
The programme content has been designed by the department of International and Extended Studies at SJSU. The course is also implemented by SJSU, which also awards the course certificate.
