How does the Study Pass work?
-
When you fill in the registration form for the first course you intend to take, tick the box of the Study Pass that you want to buy. When you register for other courses later, tick the “I have already paid for the year pass” Box.
-
A Study Pass cannot be changed for another type of Study Pass after the registration. If you want to take more courses, you can buy a new pass.
-
JAMK’s next academic year will start on 1 August 2012, and it will end on 31 July 2013. NOTE! Since 1st August, the Study Passes cover the total number of credits of the single courses that you take during two semesters, autumn-spring or spring-autumn!
-
You will receive an invoice for the Study Pass when the first course you have registered for has started. Payment can be made in 1-6 instalments .

For Cancellation Terms, see below!
The Unemployed -20%
The unemployed get a discount of 20% on the fees. After registration the students need to submit an unemployment certificate to Student Services Secretary. Please note that unemployment certificates submitted after the first course has started will not be accepted.
Please also note that if you are an active job seeker as determined by the Employment and Economic Development Office and receive or have applied for Finnish unemployment benefit, you have to inform your local Employment and Economic Development Office of the studies. If the average number of credits per month is five (5) or more, you will be regarded as a full-time student, which means you will not be entitled to unemployment benefit. Even if the average number of credits per month is less than 5, you must notify the Employment and Economic Development Office. The Office makes the final decision on whether the studies are full-time or part-time.
