Learn how the Music Industry Works
The fast growing global entertainment industry is an exciting and demanding field, and we will provide you with the skills and practical experience you need to meet this challenge.
You will gain the skills to produce business plans, create innovative products, organize large-scale events, design and implement marketing and production plans, and execute research projects.
The programme features a study abroad component in conjunction with our partner schools in the United States, Estonia, The United Kingdom, Canada and the Netherlands. You also have the option of earning a double degree with our Dutch partner InHolland University of Applied Sciences.
A double degree exchange period lasts for one academic year, and, upon completion of your studies, you will receive bachelor degrees from both institutions: a bachelor degree in Culture and Arts from JAMK University of Applied Sciences, and a bachelor degree in Business Administration from InHolland University of Applied Sciences.
The Fusion of Entertainment and Management
The students are able to identify various opportunities to combine managerial qualities with the empathy for artists and the creative industries. They understand the various concepts related to the management activities and styles needed in organisations. They develop their knowledge of the opportunities for implementation and promotion within the music and media industries.
Intellectual Property Rights, project management and entrepreneurship are also at the core of our programme.
Our graduates are presently employed with record labels, event management companies, and other media organizations. And many of our graduates become entrepreneurial business leaders!
Implementation of Studies
The students have an overall perspective of international business frameworks and management. The studies apply general business and management concepts to the reality of multicultural business environments in the entertainment industries. The routine strategic decisions in marketing, business economics and managerial processes become conscious and subtle. The students understand the essentials of human resource management and its significance for strategic and operative processes, as well as the significance of quality management as an umbrella approach to all managerial activities.

Campus Entertainment as a Learning Environment
Campus Entertainment resembles a production house in terms of how it functions. It enables its staff to merge their theoretical knowledge with the technical and practical know-how required to produce events and services within the fields of music, media and culture during each academic year.
Campus Entertainment gives students the possibility to develop themselves professionally by composing, planning and implementing projects combining theory and practice. All projects start in the autumn and usually last until the end of the academic year.
