Boost to Technology

In response to the needs of business and industry and the competence requirements of the labour market, the School of Technology has reorganised itself into teams of professionals in four departments: ICT, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics, and Natural Resources and Civil Engineering. The new organisation underlines expertise and allows seamless dialogue and interaction with the world of work.  It also ensures continuous development of our expertise.

Power from Partnerships

The development of the School of Technology is based on strong ties and cooperation with good partner companies and institutes of higher education. Our aim is to provide businesses with the best possible expertise in the form of services and R&D Projects. The aim sets huge challenges to us, but challenges are what make us stronger. They inspire us to ensure the level of our expertise and know-how in educating future professionals in engineering and  logistics, and in agriculture and rural industries.

Education Towards Global Competence

The new focuses and strong strategic policies are already reflected in the development of our international network. The aim is that the structure of our international network supports our education programmes and the expertise that we offer to our partners. Together with our international partners, we aspire to the new vision of  JAMK – to be the best in our field.

We intend to continue fighting for the title of the most popular place to study engineering in Finland, and we also intend to be a good partner that contributes to the development of businesses and our field of education.
