Corporate Management Team
Jussi Halttunen, Rector, directs and develops the activities of JAMK University of Applied Sciences (JAMK) and deals with the matters concerning internal administration. He is responsible for the overall strategy of JAMK, for the quality and cost-effectiveness of the activities, for reaching the strategic goals, and for assessing the quality and developing the assessment system. He is also in charge of cooperation with JAMK’s stakeholders both at the national and international level. The Rector also acts as President of JAMK University of Applied Sciences Ltd.
The Rector / President is assisted by the JAMK Management Team, which is composed of the Rector / President the Director of Administration, Vice Rector and the Directors of the Schools. The task of the Management Teams is to assist the Rector / President in the management and development of JAMK.
Pekka Jääskö, Director of Administration, is in charge of the financial management, human resources management, information management, marketing services, facility management services and the library. He is responsible for the strategies in this area and for the budgeting process.
Heikki Malinen, Vice Rector, is in charge of the student services, educational development services, international services, R&D development services and quality assurance system. He is responsible for the overall strategies in this area and for the agreement process between the Ministry of Education and JAMK. He is also responsible for the development of the talent management skills of the personnel.
