JAMK University of Applied Sciences Ltd. Board of Directors

JAMK University of Applied Sciences Ltd. Board of Directors carries out the duties prescribed by the Finnish Companies Act. It is responsible for the administration of the corporation, for proper organisation of its operations, and for organising and managing it in accordance with appropriate rules and regulations.

The Board of Directors decides on

• the management of JAMK University of Applied Sciences (JAMK)
• the strategic development and strategies of JAMK
• the budget and the operating and financial plan
• the agreement proposal to be submitted to the Ministry of Education and the final agreement
• educational tasks and proposals for alterations thereto
• appointment and dismissal of the President, Director of Administration, Director of Strategic Development and the Directors of the Schools
• terms of the President’s contract of employment and the remuneration of the other directors

The Board of Directors also appoints the Academic Board.
