International Cooperation

JAMK is a nationally accredited, multi-disciplinary institution of higher education. At JAMK, international cooperation is highly valued and internationalisation is actively supported in all of our operations. It is also one core track in our strategy. JAMK’s international cooperation includes a wide range of joint research projects, networks, joint degree programmes as well as student and staff mobility.

We have close to 300 partners in a large area in Europe, Latin America, Asia, Australia, and Africa. A great deal of the partners, as well as JAMK, are participating in the Erasmus of the Life Long Learning Programme. JAMK has also been granted the Extended Erasmus University Charter.

JAMK offers education in seven fields of study and has 36 degree programmes. Six of the degree programmes are conducted in English. In addition to education we offer research and development services for business life and industry helping to create an international Central Finland.
